Good to see that more phrases have been added. Love the search function!

Ive been learning Punjabi for the last couple of months, and Ive found this app very useful. It does exactly as it says. Its great for memorizing words, has very practical words and phrases, the pronunciation is good (although very occasionally the voice is inconsistent and a little muffled). Having the words in gurmukhi has help my reading too, it seems to build an instant word association. ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਿਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਪਲਿਖੇਸ਼ੌਨ!
This is a wonderful app to teach punjabi to your children. My children love it. It teaches starting from punjabi alphabet to talking and understanding punjabi phrases.
Good app , but its for slightly more than beginner , and doesnt have the "Oora, aira , eeree " stuff written so you can read , but still an amazing app !
Best language app Ive seen Great job 1st problem (small): in the " at home" "pets an animals" section many of the animals are Speke the same way in punjabi, needs correction. 2nd (BIG) problem: sometimes when Im doing tests the app will shut down and close, and when I reopen it my test has been reset, this ESPECIALLY becomes a problem when Im doing a long personal study test with 100+ words:( Please fix these problems if u can, I love this app!
The makers of this App should indicate this is not an audio conversational lesson where a word (s) is spoken in English, then the same word is repeated on Punjabi.
I think the only thing the app is missing is an update with more useful phrases.
The audio translation doesnt work. Waste of my money
It would be fine if there was sound!
Great app for someone learning the punjabi language.
I found this app very useful, and a good model of how an interesting language app interface should be. Colorful character images are nice. Multiple options of list or flashcard mode are nice. And OF COURSE, like all language apps should, there is a spoken example, and no need for Wifi at all to operate. I have been studying Hindi primarily, and wish there was a Hindi app akin to this one. It was useful to compare Punjabi with Hindi and learn Punjabi itself. Probably the 2nd most useful language to know in India and Pakistan (and New York / North America too!) Slight layout adjustments that had cut off full views will be fixed in future update according to the developers.
I so far love this app, I think it should continue to expand. More words for sure. If the app stays the way it is right now, I will be mildly happy, but if the developer continues this programs development then for sure it will be a 5 star app. Crossing my fingers that happens!
Love this app I like how it has Gurmukhi and English so its easy to learn how to read as well as pronunciation
Why are some numbers skip?
The app is useful, but it is not as comprehensive as it days it is. Also, there are some minor bugs which may cause the app to crash from time to time. During the 2-3 months I have owned the app there has never been an update to solve these bugs. The only other problem is that you can not flash card the letters. Really, this app is best used for those who want to better learn to read/write Punjab as opposed to those who want to learn to speak it.
This is a great app but it would been so much better if it had all the alphabet and numbers
Not sure I understand the glowing reviews here. The vocabulary offered is completely impractical. There are pronouns and colors but no basic greetings. If you need to say "i am three blue" then this is the app for you. If you need to say "hello my name is Daniel" you will have to wait for another app to be developed.
Obviously not comprehensive but enough simple words to get the ball rolling...its be nice to see a more advanced version going forward.
I wish this app had more content. All it is is just flash cards. I want phrases. I want more. Other apps in the store are a better value.
I have used this app for a couple years and found it useful. Since the latest iphone OS update it no longer functions properly. It shuts down when asked pronunciation.
App crashes all the time.
I already learned lots of words and phrases because of this app
